(yeah!... let it!)... let it go to gather close... let it flow to be... let it ride to deep inside... with life's infinity... let it touch as in-so-much... let it feel too... let it make for its own sake... what birth is born to do... let it seed and let it feed... let it have what is... let it grow in souls to know... the truth of all of this... let it come to find a home... let it dwell anew... let it seep and let it keep... the heart alive in you... let it scatter over matter... let it soak upon... let it take by saving grace... what's made to carry on... let it dare to care'n'share... let the spirit in... let its love of depth above... yeah!... let it do its thing!... ~~~
(in that land of wherever)... in that land of wherever... stands a town called whatever... whoevers happen to live there... they got someone and no one... and anyone and everyone... somewhere and nowhere... and everywhere!... now always and ever... and sometimes and never... whoevers will do something... with know how and knew how... they somehow and anyhow... do anything and nothing... and everything!... and nobody and anybody... and somebody and everybody... does anyway and every way... and some way and no way... at sometime and one time... and no time and anytime... and everytime!... well any and all... and some and none... wanted to go somewhere... someplace and every place... and no place and anyplace... anywhere and nowhere... and everywhere!... so whenever and however... took some day and everyday... and one day and no day... and anyday off!... andthey left whatever... back there in wherever... and then those whoevers... got lost!... ~~~~~~~
(this vision he had)... "ain't nothin' too big... my mentor can't do"... that's just what he said... and swore it was true... then he showed me a trick... that he played on his friend... with this vision he had... that didn't want to end... "there's the greatest of pictures... that lives in my mind... can't wipe the slate clean... can't leave it behind"... "would get rid of the thing... but got nowhere to send... this vision i have... that don't wanna end"... "seems this thing in my brain... got nothin' better to do... than hang out and wait... for people like you"... "look deep in my eyes now... into both of them... you'll see this vision i have... that don't wanna end"... i stared in his eyes... till the black went away... and a wonder of wonders... appeared in its place... virtual living... of the lives of dead men... was this vision he had... that didn't want to end... there was laughing and crying... handshakes and moans... a poorhouse of paupers... and crowned kings on thrones... some acted quite natural... some seemed to pretend... in this vision he had... that didn't want to end... it was all oh so real... this sight that i saw... found myself quite caught up... and amazed in such awe... i started to think when... my eyes blinked and then... i lost the vision he had... that didn't want to end... he begged me to tell him... just how it was done... said "there isn't a head... that can figure this one"... i asked him to show me... the trick once again... of this vision he had... that didn't want to end... but he told me "no re-runs... no second time 'round... won't leave to come back... this scene that i found"... "so i'll leave you to wonder... if ever and when... this vision i have... will come to an end!"... ~~~
that field... grains of age on a field page... stilled with state of grace... till wind blew in with easy kin... and livened up the place... top hats tipped to vivid steps... as music strolled the floor... bending stems of old stiff lace... into waves of new encore... busy-body tree limbs watched... like chaperones of time... then lost their leave to cover up... and joined in rhythm's rhyme... nature's band of frolic beat... bade stillness move along... till all who stood upon a stand... were swept in wind dance song... favorites filled that field air... as moments took my hand... to pen this sight to memory... for me to share again... ~~~
(a weary wind falls sleeping)... a weary wind falls sleeping... 'neath the calm behind a storm... lullabies from winter springs... keep early seasons warm... on a fluffed-up hilly pillow... in a field gone to bed... this short trip off a tracking course... lays down its worn-out head... amid destiny awaiting... accompanied by its kin... family chances nature... to that mystery held within... beneath the quirk of comfort... where a change of pace begins... there's a stir of rustled murmurs... and a stranger creeping in... trunks of year-old seedlings... curled beyond their new-born bend... tucker out from blows they faced... while coping till the end... hugging bordered bushes... once along the fence line wall... strength hibernates to rebuild time... and bounce back from it all... amid destiny awaiting... accompanied by its kin... family chances nature... to that mystery held within... beneath the quirk of comfort... where a change of pace begins... there's a stir of rustled murmurs... and a stranger creeping in... caps of mud from melted snow... cover trampled grass... smoothing out in thin brisk coats... to let some movement pass... underlapped in patches... on a spread of acre land... layers that hide those cracks inside... close every gap by hand... amid destiny awaiting... accompanied by its kin... family chances nature... to that mystery held within... beneath the quirk of comfort... where a change of pace begins... there's a stir of rustled murmurs... and a stranger creeping in... horizon's eyelids fluttertight... while nodding 'gainst the sun... chasing daylight's aftermath... to answer evening's one... leaving its hollow to solidly wrap... that solitary sky... nightfall's pole-vault presence... heightens essence mummified... amid destiny awaiting... accompanied by its kin... family chances nature... to that mystery held within... beneath the quirk of comfort... where a change of pace begins... there's a stir of rustled murmurs... and a stranger creeping in!... ~~~~~~~~~~~~
